Waiting for Spring: 2nd week! @ Excentris

Waiting for Spring by Marie-Geneviève Chabot is screened at Excentris Cinema (Montreal) for a second week (in French only). Showtimes: 5 pm (April 12^th to 18^th), except April 15^th: 3:45 pm.

During the long Winter season in the Northern Quebec, Berny and his neighbours live in the quiet rhythm of the day, ice fishing and getting ready for the dustbins rally. These former miners have decided to stay in the region despite the closure of the mines and the departure of their close relations. This cold end of the world is their home. Waiting for Spring is made of snow, wind, stone and resistance.
