From the icy expanses of Nunavik to the luxuriant warmth of the Amazonian rain forest, we follow Charlie the Inuk in his quest. After the death of the last known shaman, Charlie realizes that nobody can guide him anymore in his research about ancient beliefs and his commitment to find healing paths for his people. So he goes in search of an Amazonian shaman and undergoes an initiatory experience with him. Invigorated by the contact with the energy of the spirits, the rituals and a discipline that takes him into a trance, will he return home transformed by his science of ecstasy? Will this journey provide him with the keys to a new dialogue with the spirits haunting the tundra?
