Studies. Her first documentary, Warshaw on the Main, a slice-of-life
documentary about a group of colourful cashiers working at the
landmark Montreal supermarket, played numerous times on CBC-Newsworld,
CBC, CFCF-12, and Télé-Québec.
In 2005, she completed her second documentary, Lifelike, on
the weird and wonderful world of taxidermy. In parallel, Tally

filming three small Montreal mom-and-pop stores over a period
of four years. She has also published a book about Montreal barbershops
with photographer Claudine Sauvé.
In addition to her film work, Tally has produced several radio
documentaries, primarily for CBC. Her most recent radio piece
was produced for the "service documentaire" at Radio-Canada
and is a unique 42-minute documentary portrait of children in
shared custody. For the past four years, Tally has also been
part of the programming committee of the Rencontres internationales
